Why local-first
Zimmer exists for developers and organisations that cannot treat every prompt, source file, or client document as acceptable cloud traffic. Ownership is not presented as magic: local models give up some frontier capability in exchange for privacy, predictable cost, offline operation, and control.
What has shipped
Zimmer ships a desktop workspace for macOS and Windows, plus Zimmer Server for teams on company-owned Apple-silicon hardware. Fihi Labs UG publishes the product, documentation, security detail, and the trade-offs that buyers should check before adopting it.
